What do we do with Chilwell? I’m an 8 team OFPL and can hold him for a little bit, but it gets tough when other injuries start to creep up. Trade value is almost zero at this point and dropping him seems hard to swallow since I drafted him pretty high.
i think i wrote last week that Chilwell was droppable. Barring an injury to Marcos Alonso or Tuchel making a significant change in tactics he’s second choice. Difficult situation compounded by the obvious value if he were to get the starting job back.
The best case is shipping him to the Alonso owner for a usable DEF3/4
seeing a lot of these; I’d stick with streaming A guy in the XI (Allan available?) but if you’re playing for upside a 65’ sub and late assist from Bailey feels about right today against that version of Everton

Good evening gaffer. In a 12 team fantrax league. With a mid of buendia,asm,madders, tielemans,plm and Lookman. Since buendia is going to join up with the squad only tomorrow as will be assessed. Is it wise to play PLM ahead of him? Since he plays the early kick off and my other options are lookman (and zouma who plays united). And Is it worth holding onto lookman if he doesn't start this GW?? Maybe drop him for someone like Mac allister,kante or Westwood? Also who would you start this GW? Pepe or trincao? Other fwds are jota and Mane. Thanks in advance and sorry for the bombardment of questions 😂
I would wait and roll the dice on Buendia starting because his upside is so good and NOR has been awful. If you anticipate close match and just need 5-7 points starting PLM makes sense tho; always take those starts/min when you can.
Lookman is worth rostering in a 12-team league generally but your MID is stacked and it sounds like there are options on the waiver wire. maybe trading him for a FWD3 to a team that is light in midfield. He’ll have some good value games this season. Mac Allister is the top ranked of those three (ranks are good to use for this!)
I’d honestly roll with Trincao against Brentford but Pépé would be a fine start and maybe you play both if they both start to protect against Mané or Jota getting a rest. Doubt that can happen with LFCs injuries but those are four very good options this weekend.
Hi Gaf! Need some trade advice (Fantrax 12 team league) .. been offered Rice + Hee Chan for Madders.. I’m extremely tempted to take it but just wanted to get any extra feedback?
I think that is selling massively low on Maddison even if you believe Rice is capable on continuing in this vein of form ( he isn’t ) and I’m about as high on Hwang as anyone out there. He didn’t do much in GER but those two standout Austrian seasons have a way of drawing the eye. Maddison is still a top 20 ROS player in my ranks and neither of those guys are close to that.
For reference my mid is : March, Olise, Madders, PLM, JWP and forward are Bailey, Jota, Lukaku… I don’t need to trade necessarily but honestly getting annoyed with Maddison. Appreciate the help!
Hi John. Is Fabinho a viable fantrax option if he can be played as a back and get those potential Liverpool clan sheet points? I struggle with working out these positional variables. Thanks.
Oh that’s interesting; it depends if he can be played as a DEF without lining up there in real life. I do not think his M points make him valuable enough to justify a roster spot but if he was an OOP DEF (or even a real life D who could be played there in FT) you’d be justified in using him, rostering him in larger leagues and streaming for the CS potential in 8-team leagues.
yeah i would probably do that in a vacuum but i’m quite worried about Sterling at the moment so i may wait until after this weekend to try that deal. City is such a problem right now. mané is lower because forward is soooooo deep this year not because i’m in any way worried about his production

Never mind Fantrax just gave the assist.
That would then mean I would have to drop Bailey or Vlasic, which I feel would be silly as they should be starters soon.
