Open Thread: Transfers, Rumors and Week 1
The transfer rumor mill is spinning at what feels like half-speed right now. After the “news” that Real Madrid would pay up to 50% of Gareth Bale’s wages, I expected every club with a actual director of football operations to be linked. Similarly, I’m shocked more EPL teams aren’t linked with a return for Coutinho. And that’s before we get into myriad loan deals that haven’t been finalized and paltry number of Championship raids.
Which players have you been happiest to see land in the top flight? Which are you still waiting on? And what draft or GW1 roster questions are you struggling with? I’ll also keep using this as a place to drop questions and answers I get cross-platform!

Small 8 team league. Have way too many mids, and my mates are smart enough to not accept trades to offload the depth.
Gotta drop Mount, Bowen, Doucore, or Lol Celso for a GK next week. Thoughts
Some good recommendations coming through! I copped a lot of criticism post-draft for going boom or bust, but very content with my team after a strong ~100 point gw1 win despite multiple absences.
