If you’re anything like me, these are welcome breaks from a long season but also when you hold your breath and hope that no injuries befall your teams. If you’re exactly like me, you’ve got so many teams that this covers half the players in the league. Today’s open thread is for anything - we’ll resume regular FPL coverage next week.
Ok, a little fantasy news because the way some of the EPL players are embracing all this nonsense is just perfect. When is Michy finally coming good? Let’s ask the man himself:

Speaking of fantasy assets we’re pulling hair out over, what have we here?

I’m going to stop talking about Pogba, because I only ever get in trouble but before I do: I’m not worried about him at all. Buy shares. He’s going to play, play well, and score points (probably). While the unmitigated joy I feel at United’s ineptitude is nice, the FPL manager and tout in me can’t wait until a competent manager is at the wheel. But this is the Premier League, and competence seems to be in short supply at the top.
Speaking of…American Premier League fans are stuck watching most of the games in real-time, on a two-minute delay and no pause, rewind or other functions (thanks, Peacock!) but at least we’re only being charge a monthly fee. This is £150 to watch every match in a weekend - less whatever match(es) happen to be on services you already have.

The greed is obviously staggering but this is also just such a bad idea from any baseline perspective of keeping fans, lets alone growing fans. When NBC - the US broadcast partner - made the move to put more than half the matches here behind the app paywall there was significant outcry. This is even more tone deaf and fans are rightly (virtually) rioting.
So same rules as always - if you’re on the 1,000+ strong members of the newsletter you got this and the thread is open for your questions, answers, whatever else. If you’d like to get all the articles - pick up a monthly or annual subscription. Thanks to you all for the support!
Humor me, speculatively, Benrahma to West Ham (per Sky)...do we need not look further than Felipe to see an individual’s talent put to ruin by “he who must not be named”...
OFPL 10-man classic scoring league. Is it worth taking a punt on Carlos Vinicius?
My Forwards are Jesus, Wood and Adams. Adams would be the one to make way, but I like that he's still nailed on for the moment unlike a lot of the rest of my roster have rotation risk. I'm making the obvious assumption that Vinicius will be Kane's understudy. Spurs playing 2 strikers seems unlikely unless Son has an extended injury layoff.
