Open Thread: A Normal Game Week!
wtaf? we're getting a regulation week?
This year has brought many things, but Liverpool wins is not one of them. Perhaps the only thing more rare than the defending champions collecting three points is my fantasy team (any of the seven of them) being able to run out the same XI each weekend.
The last few weeks have been a hodgepodge of different content on this stack but just today I announced the launch of Sorare Daily, so there will be less of that over here while we concentrate on winning your table league and getting into the playoffs of your. If you’d like to join that, there will be free content (and subscription content) posted focusing on the games based around those cards.
This is the time of the year when I start preparing the material for the summer and next season’s Draft Guide. This is the schedule which dates back to 5BT. That’s five year Before Togga. On the Togga continuum that means I’ve been doing it this way for 12 years; a period of time during which I could have become two different types of doctor. So if you’re in a dynasty, keeper or other format of league where you’re looking ahead to next season feel free to drop your questions on this and every Open Thread for the rest of the season!
A few key stats to keep in mind: over the past 14 days the five highest scoring players in Togga draft scoring are: Raphinha (57.5), Lucas Digne (55.5), Riyad Mahrez (53), Kyle Bartley (50.25) and Gareth Bale (48.5). Just as we all predicted. Bale remains a free agent in 23% of draft leagues while Bartley is owned in just 8%!! A home match against Newcastle will be followed by a trip to Crystal Palace, making Bartley one of the best streaming defenders in the game.

Hey gaffer, running into some injury problems and think I need to move on from some guys that i've been holding out hope for. Do Willian Jose or Benrahma have any chance of finding their form this season or could they be dropped (Benrahma showed a little promise today)? Then what do you think about Redmond's value considering the Ings injury?
Good morning Gaffer, I’ve got a question for you about choosing a platform for next year. I’m currently running an OFPL League but we’re over it. A few of the guys have been doing DFS on DraftKings with me and we like the scoring a lot more. For a draft League it would seem to make a ton more players viable options and in turn make the waiver wire options useful instead of the baron wasteland we have using OFPL. So my question is what would be the best platform? Also do any of them have an app? Most of the time we’re all using our phones.
Thanks and have a great day!
