Hi John. Would love your take on how the CR7 Sweepstakes concluded in our league. Result is that Ronaldo went for 140% of FAB. Winning bid traded Raheem + Fornals for Gross + 41% FAB, and spent all 141% FAB for the winning Ronaldo bid. So how does that balance in your estimate? Ronaldo + Gross, and gave up all remaining FAB + Raheem + Fornals.
Rather have the Raz + Fornals side though Fornals looks to be in competition with a pickle for starts now? Maybe less a concern once anyone there gets hurt with Bowen or Yarmo?? coming in to spell Antonio and the tactics likely looking set w. this cast of talent.
Gaffer I need to upgrade my midfield, I have Bowen, Lee’s-Melou, Norgaard, Smith-Rowe, Foden and Olise, obviously the last 2 being injured. Gallagher (was he just a lucky break), allan (steady but not flashy), Elyounoussi are available. Any of those considered an upgrade?
yeah, not clear where he fits in. Harrison and Rafinha are locked, but Rodrigo/Klich/Robers, not so much. I don't see Leeds spending $$ for him, and him leaving United, without a plan for game time. We'll see...
Hey, John. Struggling to figure out Ronaldo’s trade value amongst all this chaos in a Fantrax/togga league. Is he more like a round 1 guy or round 2? Have been offered Maddison and either Stones or Azpi for my claim to pick up Ronaldo. Trying to decide if that is a good deal to take. Thanks.
That’s about right. I think he a MID RD2 guy. There are some people who’ll take him ahead of Luakaku but I’d rather have Rom. I do think his addition helps the other United attacking assets (well not the guys he’s taking minutes from, but the other starters). I bet if you shopped the pick openly you’d get better returns. maybe even need to claim him then trade him in a 2:2 where you get back value at two positions
Thanks for the response. Yea I was able to upgrade that second piece to be Maguire who I would get in addition to Maddison for my Ronaldo claim. My only hesitation in pushing accept are lingering involvement/fitness concerns for Maddison.

A guy in my OFPL league plans to drop Auba to pick up Ronaldo. Can I offer him Werner + VDV for Auba and Tierney?
My other Forwards are Maupay and DLC and Defenders are TAA, Coufal, Zouma, and Stones.
Basically wondering if Auba is an upgrade over Werner.
Auba is a negligible upgrade there, yea. I still prefer Werner when he gets minutes but that might require TWO injuries ahead of him now.

I just dropped Lees-Melou for Daniel James. James transferred to Leeds, only 12% owned. 10 team league, so we may have more options than yours.
